What’s Love Got to Do With it?  Everything!

On this day that we focus on love, may we remember that it should be a focus for us each day.  Loving the people in our lives – warts and all, despite their imperfections.  Loving ourselves, despite our flaws – without being too hard on ourselves, while striving to become better for those around us.  Loving some of the things that money can buy and appreciating all the things that it cannot.  Pausing to enjoy the majestic, as well as the simple things.

The flowers will wilt, and the candy will be eaten.  Love is around us each day, despite what the calendar says.  May we take each day to love with our ears and presence, as well as with our mouths.
